Kevin D. Hendricks - Blogger
Kevin’s not exactly a teen anymore. When he was your age he thought people his age were old, so it’s OK. He was born in 1979 (you do the math).
When he was your age he played Christian rock on his high school radio show and helped start a fledgling Bible study at his school—both of which landed him in the principal’s office. He likes to talk about life when he was your age, which appears as a semi-regular column.
While he’s no longer classified as a teen, Kevin and his wife, Abby, do volunteer as youth leaders with their church’s youth group. Kevin also edits the youth group’s newsletter, the 411.
Before working on the 411, Kevin worked on Billy Graham’s teen web site, passageway.org. He founded his own writing and editing company in 2004, Monkey Outta Nowhere. Kevin specializes in pop culture, teen issues and blogs (you wouldn’t have guessed that combo, huh?). Kevin's actually been blogging since 1998, well before the word blog came into common usage. He also recently finished writing his first novel, Downtown Dandelions.
Kevin and his wife live in St. Paul, Minn. with their dog, Speak.
