Abusive Dating

26% were repeatedly verbally abused.
25% were forced to engage in sexual activity.
More than half of America's teens know a friend who has been abused in some way by their significant other. (Reuters, June 9, 2005)

Put some of the blame right on religion itself. I've known several women in my lifetime who have been abused by "christians" who simply felt by going to church on sunday and asking forgiveness, it was okay for them to beat their wives/girlfriends or sexually coerce them. Nice system of beliefs.
